We are excited to announce that, back by popular demand, we will be hosting a second live-streamed rakugo performance by Tatekawa Shinoharu at 10:00 on Sunday 7 March. Please note that the performance will be in Japanese.
The public performance will be followed by a workshop with students from the Japanese Studies in the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, with a view to discussing how early modern humorous short stories have been turned into fully-fledged rakugo performances.
