このサイトにお越しくださり、どうもありがとうございます。

Thank you for visiting Japan and the World.org. On this site you will find news and events relating to Japanese Studies at Cambridge University, information on the history of the subject at Cambridge and our vision for the future of Japanese Studies at Cambridge and Japan in the world.
If you studied Japanese at Cambridge, whether last year or fifty years ago, we would love to get back in touch and hear all about where Japanese studies has taken you. Starting in 2018 we have held an annual Alumnae/alumni roundtable meeting in faculty. This is a chance for our current undergraduates to meet their esteemed senpai. If you would be interested in taking part please get in touch using the links at the bottom of the page. The Cambridge Japanese Studies alumni association page can be found here: Tsurugi no kai.
Most of our Japan-related events at the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies are free and open to the public. Our East Asia Seminar Series (usually held on Mondays at 5pm during Michaelmas and Lent) is especially popular. Please do join us – come early for the best seats and stay after for mingling and wine. You can check our Facebook or Twitter pages on the side bar for upcoming events and be sure to LIKE and follow us while you are at it.
Thank you very much for supporting our programs.
