Eighth Summer School in Early Modern Japanese Palaeography

The Eighth Summer School in Early Modern Japanese Palaeography has now started. Thirty-nine participants from all over the world will be working for two weeks on a wide range of early modern materials focused on laughter and comic storytelling. The beginners’ track consists in daily seminars with Dr Moretti. Intermediate and advanced learners are focusing on a transcription project led by our MPhil student Joseph Bills.
